About Sudoku Puzzles

Sudoku
puzzles are in many news papers including the Dayton Daily News and Cincinnati Enquirer. A table is given with just some of the squares filled in. Those numbers are fixed, and to solve the puzzle you have to fill in all of the other squares following the rules above.

To use the solver to complete one of these puzzles for you, just fill in the fixed squares by clicking your mouse on each such square and picking the right number. Then press the "Solve" button and watch it work it all out!

If there are any solutions, it will find one. Press "Solve" again for the next solution (if any) and so on. It will find every possible solution.

Press "Reset" when you want to clear the whole grid for another puzzle. Or, starting from a blank grid, generate a Sudoku puzzle by pressing "Solve". If you copy just some of the numbers onto an empty grid, you will have created your own Sudoku for someone else to solve!

Or press "Solve" again to let it go on to produce another puzzle, and so on. Eventually the solver will find every possible Sudoku puzzle that there is.
