The Wreath - The Eternal Circle

   The wreath, a symbol as old as man himself, can be found on many monuments in Mt. Hope. Not only was it used as a symbol of death and mourning, and formed an eternal Circle, but it also symbolized honor. The wreath, the eternal circle has been a symbol of everlasting life in memorial traditions in nearly every culture throughout history. Withered remains of wreaths 4,500 years old have been found in Egyptian Pharaoh's burial pyramids.
