What
makes some roses so much better than others? There are several
answers to that question.
1)
Location. Roses grow best in places with warm bright sunny days
and cool summer nights. Our roses are grown high up in the mountains
of Ecuador where the days are bright and the nights are cool, the
perfect environment for growing superior roses.
2) Farm
Quality. Just as in any perishable product some farms are more
dedicated to growing high quality. Our rose farm is one of those who
takes pride in being an industry leader, growing some of the finest
roses on earth.
3)
Freshness. Our roses are fresher because unlike most florists we
have a direct relationship with our farm. We know when the rose will
be picked and when it will be shipped and when it will be in our
customer's hands.
4) Vine
Ripened. Since we have a direct relationship with our farm we
instruct them to leave the flower on the vine several days longer
until the rose is fully developed. This ensures a more vibrant rose
that will perform by opening fully and lasting longer. It is
probably no surprise to you that most of the industry cuts their
roses too immature. They do this so the roses can be stored for long
periods. Unfortunately for them the roses never enjoy proper
development and thus often times perform poorly. Not us! There is no
need for us to store our roses because they come directly to us from
the farm and then hand delivered to you so you can enjoy the full
beauty nature has to offer.
