This elegant room at the historic NCR Country Club for the 2005 US Seniors Open Golf Championship was adorned by summer garden centerpieces consisting of yellow LA hybrid lilies, blue belladonna delphinium, white and pink bi-colored lisianthus, coral snap dragons, red garden roses, bells of Ireland, hypericum berries and lemon leaf.

   In July 2005 Dayton was awarded the opportunity to host the USGA Senior Open Championships at The NCR Country Club in Kettering. This nationally recognized event featured some of the most famous professionals to ever drive a fairway, including Greg "The Shark" Norman, Arnold Palmer and Tom Watson. Although Dayton has hosted some of golf's top pro-events in the past, it is the first time a men's senior event has ever been held in Dayton and even more special, Oberer's Flowers was given the opportunity to provide its one-of-a-kind arrangements for the tournaments interior decorations.
