Schefflera Arbicola      

...for the loyal and true believers

Native to Taiwan, the arbicola with its umbrella like leaves exudes of the tropics. Shiny foliage with its compact nature makes for a wonderful houseplant.

The plant shown in a 12" terra-cotta pot is a superior tissue culture specimen, and is easy to care for being tolerant of many indoor conditions.

  

 

How to care for your Arbicola

LIGHT:: Moderate to bright indirect light (east, west or south windows) Keep out of full sun.

TEMPERATURE: 65 to 85F. Can tolerate 48 without damage.

WATER:
HUMIDITY: Medium to high. 40% or more.

FERTILIZATION: In the growing season, feed them every two or three weeks with a water soluble or liquid fertilizer. In the winter, cut back to once a month, half strength..

COMMON PROBLEMS: Be careful not to over water. The arbicola can be susceptible to root rot if allowed to sit in water for long periods of time.
